During his working trip to the Cherkasy region, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy visited the Agrochemical Factory of the UKRAVIT Corporation. It is the first and largest Ukrainian manufacturer of preparations for chemical protection of crops in the industrial and private sectors.
The company manufactures more than 140 products. These are, in particular, microfertilizers for agriculture, preparations for chemical protection of plants, means for destruction of rodents and household insects.
The company employs over 300 people.
The Head of State got himself acquainted with the research center of healthy plants, in particular with the Institute of Healthy Plants. This is a unique project that allows farmers to apply innovative technologies. The institute works in the format of "green chemistry", which provides for a careful attitude to nature and the maximum reduction of the use of harmful substances.
Volodymyr Zelenskyy was also shown the latest method of growing vegetables without soil and the process of studying soil.
"I am very pleasantly surprised by what I saw here - positive, without any negative, smart people. It is very nice," the President of Ukraine noted.
