President Volodymyr Zelenskyy keeps the situation in the western regions of Ukraine, where the weather is raging, under control. The Head of State discussed with the government the issue of helping people suffering from floods and heavy rains, and commissioned to send humanitarian aid to the affected regions.
"Floods are a terrible problem that requires a careful strategic solution. And now we must promptly take care of people who are left without light, whose homes are flooded," the President said.
Volodymyr Zelenskyy hears a daily report on the development of the weather situation. Currently, rescuers are working in four regions: Ivano-Frankivsk, Zakarpattia, Lviv and Chernivtsi.
The Head of State is also monitoring the situation with regard to a house in Kyiv where an explosion took place killing five people. He keeps under personal control the issue of quick purchase of apartments for all those affected by this emergency.
