This morning, another round of consultations in the working group on political issues of the Trilateral Contact Group (TCG) for a peaceful settlement in Donbas began in the format of a video conference.
For the first time in more than five years, representatives of the Donetsk and Luhansk regions of Ukraine temporarily occupied by the Russian Federation are involved in the dialogue at the TCG platform as part of the Ukrainian delegation.
Representatives of ORDLO are involved in order to implement the provisions of the Package of Measures to Implement the Minsk Agreements, in particular paragraph 9, paragraphs 11-12, which provide for consultations with representatives of certain districts of the Donetsk and Luhansk regions on political settlement parameters and legislative amendments.
At today's meeting, the Donetsk region is represented by well-known journalists Denys Kazanskyi and Serhiy Harmash who were forced to leave Donetsk in 2014.
The Luhansk region is represented by a lawyer, chairman of the International NGO "Luhansk Fellowship" Vadym Goran. Well-known doctor Kostiantyn Libster is also involved in the work of the TCG on behalf of certain districts of the Luhansk region.
