President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy got acquainted with construction progress of tne terminal of Zaporizhzhya International Airport.
The terminal is designed for reception of 1 million passengers per year. According to Mayor of Zaporizhzhya Volodymyr Buryak, the airport has more than UAH 50 million of net profit.
It is expected that Zaporizhzhya International Airport will accept flights from the Dnipropetrovsk International Airport during the reconstruction of the latter.
The Head of State set the task to complete building and construction work at Zaporizhzhya Airport in December.
"This is a normal, modern terminal. Well done. It is very good, when something is being built in Ukraine," Volodymyr Zelenskyy said.
It should be noted that the inspection of the terminal was not foreseen by the working program of Volodymyr Zelenskyy, but the President expressed his desire to look at building and construction.
