President Volodymyr Zelenskyy emphasizes that any issues related to negotiations on the end of the war in Ukraine should be brought to a public plane, and our country has already voiced its proposals for establishing peace at the G20 summit. The Head of State said this at a meeting with media representatives on the occasion of the Day of Radio, Television and Communication Workers.
The President of Ukraine said that he had received certain signals from the leaders of other countries regarding possible negotiations with the Russian side. As Zelenskyy said, the Russian Federation is waging the full-scale aggressive war against Ukraine, so any negotiations must take place in public, not behind closed doors.
Zelenskyy noted: so that world leaders do not have any questions about Ukraine's readiness for negotiations, he presented proposals aimed at achieving peace in our country at the G20 summit.
"I believe that this is a formula for peace for the whole world. Because every state can find its place there and be a leader in this or that initiative – in overcoming the difficulties of this or that item from these ten items," the President said.
The Head of State said that after the recent victories of Ukraine, a number of countries of the world understood the myth of the stories about the power of the Russian army.
The president also said that he is not interested in the future of Russia, because it is not a priority for Ukraine.
"We have to deal with our state. We must make sure that our neighbors do not try to attack us again. And this is our task, we must do the job," Zelenskyy summed up.
