The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine should propose a set of measures to combat the forgery of PCR tests and COVID-19 vaccination certificates, as well as to monitor the implementation of all necessary measures by Ukrainians and foreign nationals entering Ukraine from abroad.

This was discussed at a conference call on countering the COVID-19 pandemic, chaired by President Volodymyr Zelenskyy.

Chief doctors of medical institutions where violations are recorded, and travel agencies that facilitate the receipt of forged certificates and tests, should be prosecuted.

Within two weeks, all ministries and central authorities must report on the progress of vaccination among their employees. It is desirable that 70% of employees of ministries and central executive bodies be vaccinated with two doses. For example, in the Ministry of Defense 84% of employees have already received two doses of vaccination, in the Ministry of Internal Affairs - 68%. The Head of State called it a good indicator.

They want to achieve similar indicators among the educational staff.

“Educational workers are actively vaccinated. More than 70% of employees of educational institutions have already been vaccinated," said Prime Minister of Ukraine Denys Shmyhal.

According to the head of government, for the 10th week in a row, the number of people infected with COVID-19 is growing in Ukraine. Today there are 94,540 active patients in the country. There are 16,706 beds occupied by patients with COVID-19 and patients with suspected COVID-19 disease, with only 3% of beds occupied by vaccinated citizens. In Ukraine as a whole, 90,000 beds are provided for patients with COVID-19: currently 45,000 beds are ready, 97% of which are supplied with oxygen, and the same number can be deployed at any time if necessary.

As of today, 6 million 781 thousand people have been vaccinated in Ukraine, of which 5 million 458 thousand have received two doses. Almost 746 thousand people were vaccinated last week.
