Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine Andriy Yermak met with Diplomatic Advisor on continental Europe and Türkiye to the President of the Republic of France Isabelle Dumont.

Andriy Yermak expressed gratitude to the French side for the comprehensive support of Ukraine in countering Russian aggression, as well as in overcoming the consequences of Russian missile attacks on energy infrastructure. He noted the important international events held in Paris last month, which helped consolidate the relevant support for Ukraine.

The Head of the Presidential Office informed the Diplomatic Advisor to the President of France on the current difficult situation on the frontline and the key needs of Ukraine in the defense assistance that could be provided by France.

"We commend the decision of France to supply AMX-10 RC wheeled tanks to Ukraine. This is an important step that should pave the way to the supply of heavy armored vehicles by other partners," said Andriy Yermak.

He also stressed the urgent need to strengthen Ukrainian air defense as soon as possible, first of all to ensure protection against missile attacks.

Andriy Yermak and Isabelle Dumont separately discussed the implementation of key international initiatives of Ukraine, in particular the Peace Formula proposed by President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy.

The Head of the Presidential Office thanked the French party for the principled support of this initiative and discussed further joint diplomatic efforts for the successful implementation of the Peace Formula.
