The law enforcement agencies should conduct a full, impartial and open investigation of all facts related to a video published by one of the deputies of the Servant of the People faction. It was stated by Head of the President's Office Andriy Yermak.
He noted that the mentioned videos were released on March 29, a day before the parliament considered important bills. It is possible that this was a deliberate action to disrupt the voting.
“They did everything for Ukraine to be on the verge of default. For Ukraine to never adopt the laws that are very important to it,” Andriy Yermak said during an online briefing at the President's Office.
In addition, the Head of the Office of the President reported that the MP who published the videos had previously tried to arrange for the appointment of his candidate to one of the ministries. However, Andriy Yermak stopped this appointment.
“Therefore, I think it will be right to wait for the conclusions of the law enforcement agencies. And we will see everything and hear everything,” he said.
Andriy Yermak stressed that the authorities will in no way influence the course of the investigation into the case.
