Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine Andriy Yermak believes that the United States' support for Ukraine's aspirations for a NATO Membership Action Plan (MAP) is another indication of the strategic partnership between the two countries.
"Today we have received another confirmation of the United States' full support for Ukraine's obtaining of a NATO MAP. However, there are many members in the Alliance, so the work continues. The United States has reaffirmed that it is our strategic partner that supports Ukraine's accession to NATO," he said after the meeting between President Volodymyr Zelenskyy and US Secretary of State Antony Blinken in Kyiv on Thursday.
Andriy Yermak noted that the Ukrainian and American sides are discussing various formats of cooperation to increase security in the Black Sea, including geopolitical and military.
The Head of the Office of the President also said that the next meeting of political advisers to the leaders of the Normandy format member states could take place in May and be held in person.
