In the framework of regular communications with the American party, Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine Andriy Yermak had a phone conversation with Under Secretary of State for Political Affairs of the United States Victoria Nuland.
The interlocutors discussed the details of the forthcoming visit of President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy to the United States at the invitation of US President Joe Biden.
Victoria Nuland assured Andriy Yermak of Washington's unwavering support for Ukraine's territorial integrity and sovereignty, as well as the implementation of the Minsk agreements on a peaceful settlement of the situation in Donbas.
The Head of the Office of the President informed the American partners about the implementation of reforms in Ukraine aimed to transform it into a transparent and competitive country and told about the steps to implement the European and Euro-Atlantic aspirations of our state.
The Under Secretary of State noted the importance of continuing reforms to strengthen Ukraine, including corporate governance and anticorruption reforms, and assured of the US support for these efforts.
