Pursuant to the instruction of the President of Ukraine, Head of the Presidential Office Andriy Yermak had a phone call with National Security Adviser to the Prime Minister of the United Kingdom Timothy Barrow.

The interlocutors discussed preparations for the next meeting of national security advisers and political advisers to the heads of state on the implementation of the Ukrainian Peace Formula, which will take place in Davos in January.

The Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine also informed the interlocutor in detail of the consequences of the recent massive attacks on Ukrainian cities and villages by Russia during the New Year holidays. He emphasized that dozens of Ukrainians were killed and more than 150 were wounded by these terrorist attacks.

The two sides agreed on the importance of bolstering Ukraine's air defense, which could be facilitated, in particular, by the United Kingdom.

Andriy Yermak also noted the productive work of the Ukrainian and British teams on the agreement on security commitments for Ukraine, as envisaged by the Vilnius Joint Declaration of the G7 countries.

The Head of the President's Office thanked the government and people of the United Kingdom for all the defense assistance to our country and leadership in supporting Ukraine in the fight for freedom, democracy and security in Europe.
