Andriy Yermak Had a Phone Call with Indian Prime Minister's National Security Advisor

On the eve of the Ukrainian President's visit to the United Kingdom, Head of the Presidential Office Andriy Yermak had a phone call with National Security Advisor to the Prime Minister of the Republic of India Ajit Kumar Doval. The conversation took place at the initiative of the Indian side.

The interlocutors discussed the recent massive Russian shelling of Ukraine's civilian infrastructure, including "Okhmatdyt" – one of the most important children's hospitals not only in Ukraine but also in Europe. Andriy Yermak noted that "Okhmatdyt" saves children with cancer, performs the most complex surgeries, and provides recovery from the most severe injuries. He emphasized that the attack on this hospital was another manifestation of the terrorist methods of warfare by the aggressor state.

The Head of the Presidential Office stated that it is important for Ukraine-India relations to develop. However, there must also be a clear position on Russia's aggression against Ukraine and the path to a just peace based on the Peace Formula.

Andriy Yermak stressed that India, and particularly Prime Minister Narendra Modi, can play a significant role in achieving a just peace for Ukraine.
