Following the negotiations between President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy and Prime Minister of the United Kingdom Rishi Sunak, and with the aim of fulfilling the corresponding mandate of the President, Head of the Presidential Office Andriy Yermak had a phone call with National Security Adviser to the Prime Minister of the United Kingdom Sir Timothy Barrow.
The parties discussed the current situation at the front and the importance of supplying Ukraine with the necessary weapons for the successful liberation of territories occupied by Russian troops.
Andriy Yermak and Timothy Barrow also focused on the preparation for this year's NATO Summit in Vilnius, noting the need for Ukraine to obtain effective security guarantees even before joining the Alliance.
In addition, the interlocutors exchanged views on further steps in the implementation of the Ukrainian Peace Formula. The Head of the President's Office thanked Timothy Barrow for Great Britain's willingness to take an active part in this process.
