On the instructions of the President, Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine Andriy Yermak held a telephone conversation with National Security Advisor to the President of the Republic of South Africa Sydney Mufamadi.
Yermak thanked the South African Republic and Mufamadi personally for participating in the two previous meetings of national security advisors in Jeddah and Copenhagen regarding the restoration of a sustainable and just peace based on respect for the UN Charter and international law.
"The participation of the Republic of South Africa in the consultations initiated by Ukraine at the level of national security advisors is very important for the consolidation of all the leading countries of the world around the key principles of peace and the restoration of respect for international law," Yermak said.
The Head of the Office of the President drew attention to the fact that already more than 70 countries support the philosophy of the Ukrainian Peace Formula and are ready to participate in its implementation. Ukraine is intensifying preparations for this year's Global Peace Summit and is working to attract as wide a range of leaders of major nations of the Global South as possible.
The head of the President's Office told the interlocutor about the preparation of another meeting of national security advisors dedicated to the implementation of Ukraine's initiatives to restore sustainable and just peace, and invited Mufamadi to personally participate in this event.
The head of the Office of the President of Ukraine and the advisor to the President of the Republic of South Africa agreed to continue constructive dialogue and coordinate actions, in particular, in the context of multilateral formats and initiatives.
