Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine Andriy Yermak had a phone call with National Security and Intelligence Advisor to the Prime Minister of Canada Nathalie Drouin.
Andriy Yermak thanked Prime Minister of Canada Justin Trudeau for participating in the Global Peace Summit and personally Nathalie Drouin for moderating the panel on the release of prisoners and the return of deported Ukrainians.
The parties discussed the outcomes of the Global Peace Summit. The Head of the President's Office noted the importance of Canada's support for the Joint Communiqué on a Peace Framework adopted at the Summit and expressed confidence that more countries and international organizations would join it.
The parties discussed further steps in cooperation between Ukraine and Canada, as well as the organization of a series of thematic conferences dedicated to the implementation of the points of the Peace Formula.
