Andriy Yermak outlined the priorities of his work as Head of the President's Office

Achieving peace in Donbas on Ukraine’s terms, foreign policy, cooperation with regions and attracting investment will be the main areas of work of Andriy Yermak as Head of the President's Office. He announced this during a briefing at the Office of the President of Ukraine.

“Of course, for the President of Ukraine, for the Office of the President, one of the priorities will be to end the war in Donbas under the interests of Ukraine. This vector remains a priority,” Andriy Yermak noted.

Foreign policy will also remain in the spotlight of his attention.

“I believe that today Ukraine is the top spot of the world's attention and we cannot lose this chance. We must do our utmost to ensure that the attention and interest we have and feel during the international visits of the President of Ukraine give us concrete results,” the Head of the President's Office said.

Regional policy and increased coordination with heads of regional state administrations will also be among his priorities.

“We will work even more effectively with RSA Heads. Their team has almost been formed. These are young, ambitious, professional people with specific tasks. Today our task as the Office of the President is to ensure that every citizen of Ukraine feels the results of the reforms, the results of the President's initiatives,” Andriy Yermak emphasized.

In addition, he said, the focus will be on attracting investment “to make Ukraine an investment Mecca”.

“We have specific programs, specific steps on how to do it. Today, this task has been given to our heads of regional state administrations, this is the concern of the government, as well as all those involved in the work on improving the investment climate in Ukraine,” the Head of the President's Office emphasized.

"I believe that the President’s Office should become an expert office of the Head of State, where the best, most professional staff will be concentrated helping the President fulfill his function and achieve results in all directions of his activity," Andriy Yermak concluded.
