As part of the ongoing dialogue with the allies, Head of the Presidential Office Andriy Yermak and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Valerii Zaluzhny had a phone call with National Security Advisor to the U.S. President Jake Sullivan and U.S. Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff General Mark Milley.
Andriy Yermak and Valerii Zaluzhny spoke about the operational situation at the front and possible actions of the enemy. The parties also focused on the defense of Bakhmut and the measures taken to ensure the stability of the defense forces' positions in the Donetsk area.
The Head of the Presidential Office emphasized the importance of continuing to provide Ukraine with the necessary military and financial support.
Andriy Yermak thanked the American people, the administration of President Joseph Biden and the U.S. Congress for the reliable strategic partnership and support of Ukraine in its struggle for sovereignty, de-occupation of all Ukrainian lands and compliance with international law and the UN Charter.
