Andriy Sybiha met with the heads of the embassies of the Baltic States and Northern Europe in Ukraine

Deputy Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine Andriy Sybiha met with the heads of diplomatic missions of the Baltic States and Northern Europe in Ukraine: Denmark, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Norway, Finland and Sweden.

The interlocutors exchanged views on recent major international events and discussed the results of President Volodymyr Zelenskyy's talks with the heads of state and government of the respective countries that took place during the President's foreign visits. Special attention was paid to the implementation of the agreements reached by the leaders aimed at strengthening Ukraine's position on the battlefield.

Andriy Sybiha noted the significant contribution of the Baltic States and Northern Europe to the victory of Ukraine and emphasized the importance of further deepening cooperation to bolster political and practical, primarily defense support for our country in the fight against Russian aggression.

The parties discussed the promotion of the Ukrainian Peace Formula, in particular, the need to involve the widest possible range of participants, including the countries of the Global South, in its implementation and preparation for the Global Peace Summit.

The need to increase sanctions pressure on the aggressor and the importance of coordinating efforts to counter Russian propaganda in the international arena were also emphasized.

The parties also discussed the expectations of Ukraine and its partners from upcoming international events, especially the July NATO Summit.

In this context, the Deputy Head of the Presidential Office emphasized the importance of providing Ukraine with effective security guarantees for the period before joining the Alliance.
