Andriy Sybiha met with the Vice Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Lithuania

Deputy Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine Andriy Sybiha met with Vice Minister of Foreign Affairs of Lithuania Mantas Adomėnas.

At the beginning of the meeting, Andriy Sybiha expressed gratitude to Lithuania for its comprehensive political, military and financial support for our country.

"Your country is one of the leaders in international assistance to Ukraine. We appreciate that. We will always remember that," the Deputy Head of the Presidential Office emphasized.

The importance and timeliness of another substantial package of military assistance to Ukraine, which has recently been received as a follow-up to the recent agreements between President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy and President of Lithuania Gitanas Nausėda, was also emphasized.

Andriy Sybiha informed the interlocutor about the development of the situation at the front and the urgent needs of our country in the context of the escalation of hostilities by the aggressor.

In this regard, they emphasized the importance of Lithuania's principled position in lifting restrictions and red lines in providing Ukraine with all types of weapons for victory.

"The war must end with Ukraine's victory, which will be a common victory of our partners, a victory of the entire free world," the Head of the Presidential Office emphasized.

The parties discussed further priority steps to implement the Peace Formula of President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy and Lithuania's involvement in the practical implementation of its individual points.

Particular attention was paid to further close cooperation in strengthening sanctions pressure on Russia, including preventing the circumvention of sanctions, as well as extending restrictions to a number of key areas of the aggressor country.

The Deputy Head of the Presidential Office noted the significant role of Lithuania in the restoration of Ukrainian infrastructure destroyed as a result of hostilities and commended further plans of the partners in this important area for the people of Ukraine.
