On the Day of the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy congratulated the defenders on their holiday and presented them with state awards.

We are now at a new phase in the development of the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. We have done a lot to elevate the Ukrainian Air Force to a new standard of aviation – Western combat aviation.

And one more thing for today. Our state is currently conducting evacuations in the Middle East from dangerous areas of Lebanon. The Defense Intelligence, the Foreign Intelligence Service and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine have organized the evacuation of 30 of our citizens — women with children, who are now, at this moment, already in safety. And we will continue this work.

Our unity must be maintained in the future – all of us here in Ukraine, all of us in Europe and in the world who value Ukraine, who value life.

Head of the Presidential Office Andriy Yermak held an online meeting with the deputies – members of the inter-factional association "Ukraine – Latin American and Caribbean States: Cooperation for the Future", who are visiting Chile, Argentina and Paraguay.

Ukraine and Ireland held talks to reaffirm their commitment to deepening and strengthening bilateral cooperation. Volodymyr Zelenskyy and Irish Taoiseach Simon Harris agreed to this at a meeting in Shannon on July 13.

During her visit to the Republic of Türkiye, First Lady of Ukraine Olena Zelenska participated in the launching ceremony of the Ada class corvette "Hetman Ivan Vyhovskyi." This vessel was constructed for the Ukrainian Navy at a shipyard in Türkiye.

Andriy Yermak, Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine, participated via a video call in a ceremony honoring Ukrainian athletes, organized by Paris Mayor Anne Hidalgo.

It is extremely important to ensure resilience for our state for years to come, which will guarantee greater capabilities for us now, this year, given the existing challenges and threats. Of course, the key task is to support both the Defense Forces and the state budget, as well as to ensure Ukraine's social resilience.

During a visit to Türkiye, Ukraine’s First Lady Olena Zelenska visited Istanbul University, which has been preparing specialists in Ukrainian language and literature for six years.
