Today – the Sumy region, regional work. I held a meeting of the Staff here, and the main issue is the defense of our infrastructure, our energy sector – the operation of air defense.

The President received a report from the Commander of the brigade, Hero of Ukraine Dmytro Voloshyn, on the operational situation in the brigade's area of responsibility, combat mission accomplishment and interaction with neighboring units.

On the eve of Education Workers' Day, Olena Kovalska, Deputy Head of the Office of the President, took part in the ceremony of awarding prizes to the winners of international student Olympiads and their teachers, as well as to the laureates of the all-Ukrainian Teacher of the Year competition.

The parties discussed the Ukrainian President's visit to the United States, including his presentation of the Victory Plan, as well as President Biden’s decision to surge security assistance to Ukraine.

The invitation for Ukraine to join NATO and the progress toward membership is a constant topic on the table in our discussions with partners. Only with Ukraine’s full integration and our clear place in the Euro-Atlantic space can we effectively eliminate Russia’s old, criminal temptation to disrupt the European way of life.

Ukraine’s priorities include joining NATO, implementing the decisions of the Alliance's Washington Summit, and jointly intercepting Russian missiles and drones. This was the focus of President Volodymyr Zelenskyy’s discussion with NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte during their meeting in Kyiv.

The main topics of discussion with Samantha Power included the implementation of projects aimed at strengthening Ukraine's energy grid, restoring critical infrastructure, enhancing air defense and building school shelters.

Every week, in spite of everything, our warriors ensure really tangible damage to the occupier, and this is the most important thing – to exhaust the enemy and secure Ukraine's ability to convince our partners of the steps that can radically, strategically change the military situation.

The Head of State held a meeting with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Japan to Ukraine Kuninori Matsuda before the end of his diplomatic mission.

Following the meeting, Ukraine and Canada approved a Joint Statement from the coalition co-chairs.
