The President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelenskyy, took part in the unveiling of a memorial stone, which will be replaced by a Memorial to the Victims of the Crimean Tatar Genocide. Today, the world commemorates the 80th anniversary of the deportation from the Crimean Peninsula organized by the Soviet authorities.

The First Lady Olena Zelenska met with Dr. Jarno Habicht, the Head of the World Health Organization Country Office in Ukraine, and thanked him for the effective cooperation between our country and WHO.

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy met with media representatives before the Global Peace Summit in Switzerland, the start of EU accession negotiations and the NATO Summit. He spoke about Ukraine's steps to restore a just peace and his expectations from these international events.

Russia is trying to expand the war, invariably accompanying it with empty words about peace. We must force Russia into a real, just peace by all means. In this context, our defense against assaults and attacks is crucial. 

The President's wife emphasized the importance of this event: for the first time since the beginning of the full-scale Russian invasion, the Khanenko Museum has presented works of classical art.

The Head of State also heard a report by Brigade Commander Pavlo Fedosenko on the operational situation in their area of responsibility.
