The Head of State thanked the Prime Minister of the Republic of Croatia for his personal participation in the Fourth Summit of the International Crimea Platform and in the unveiling of the Memorial to the Victims of the Crimean Tatar Genocide.

The legal system must function in such a way that the Rome Statute, and particularly the warrant issued by the International Criminal Court against the top Russian criminal, genuinely restricts him and already ensures his isolation.

Volodymyr Zelenskyy urged the international community to unite for the sake of justice and to hold the aggressor state and its political and military leadership accountable.

This year’s Summit of First Ladies and Gentlemen will feature five panels. Ukraine’s First Lady Olena Zelenska shared this in an interview with Olena Chabak, a host on the media platform "We Are Ukraine."

Volodymyr Zelenskyy expressed confidence that one day a similar memorial would surely appear in a free, Ukrainian Crimea.

We are unveiling this memorial at a time when history is repeating itself, when Crimea has once again become a battlefield for freedom, dignity, and the right to live – to live on one's own land. This memorial is not just a tribute to the past. It is a symbol that we do not forget, and we will not forgive.

The Head of State noted the Ambassador's efforts in raising funds for the Safe Terrain and Safe Skies programs. Thanks to Timothy Snyder, $3.8 million has been raised. The most active fundraisers with his support have been for drones and for the Shahed Hunter enemy UAV countermeasures system.

We will do everything not only to defend our state and people, but to really consolidate the world for the sake of strong responses to warmongering or any attempt to prolong the war.

This year, we need an effective second Peace Summit. This means maximum involvement of the world in the implementation of the Peace Formula. And the maximum strengthening of our positions to make the process of restoring peace real and fair.

President introduced the newly appointed Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Andrii Sybiha to the staff of the Ministry.
