President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy had a phone conversation with President of the European Council António Costa. The Head of State thanked for the invitation to participate in tomorrow's meeting of the European Council, which he will join online. Volodymyr Zelenskyy and António Costa coordinated their positions and discussed key issues on the agenda.

Andriy Yermak briefed the partners on the results of the international consultations held in Jeddah, emphasizing the extremely positive dynamics brought by the Ukrainian-American meeting. The Head of the Presidential Office also spoke about the telephone conversation between the President of Ukraine and the President of the United States.

The Ukrainian President thanked Finnish companies for supporting Ukraine during the full-scale Russian invasion. Volodymyr Zelenskyy emphasized that the experience of the Finnish defense industry is of great importance for Ukrainian arms production.

The leaders agreed that Ukraine and the United States should continue working together to achieve a lasting peace. Together with the United States, with President Trump, and under American leadership, it can be achieved this year.

In furtherance of the agreements between President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy and President of the Republic of Côte d'Ivoire Alassane Ouattara, Deputy Head of the Presidential Office Ihor Brusylo held an online meeting with Minister of Economy, Planning, and Development of Côte d'Ivoire Nialé Kaba.

Volodymyr Zelenskyy and Petteri Orpo discussed continued defense support for Ukraine, including the strengthening of air defenses, the supply of artillery systems and shells, and investment in Ukrainian arms production. The Head of State urged Finland to join the procurement of Ukrainian weapons based on the Danish model.

One of the key topics of the meeting was the safety of the educational space and, in particular, the arrangement of school shelters.

In Helsinki, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy met with President of Finland Alexander Stubb.

As part of the Bring Kids Back UA initiative of the President of Ukraine, an event was held in Kyiv to remind about Russia’s brutal crimes against Ukrainian children and the need for international community support to stop them.
