No matter what’s going on in the world, everyone wants to feel sure that their country will not just be erased off the map. That used to depend on a handful of big capitals, but now it’s on all of us – on how we work together, how ready we are to own our future, and how well we can convince our partners to stand with us.

Its general framework was previously developed by the Central Department for the Protection of the Rights of Servicemembers of the Ministry of Defense.

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy had a phone conversation with President of Moldova Maia Sandu. Volodymyr Zelenskyy noted that Ukraine is ready to help Moldova, particularly with coal.

The Head of State thanked Saudi Arabia for humanitarian assistance and support for Ukraine's sovereignty and territorial integrity.

On January 1, Finland's one-year chairmanship of the OSCE began. Volodymyr Zelenskyy noted that Elina Valtonen made her first visit in this role to Ukraine, and this is an important symbol of support for our state.

The Head of State thanked Qatar for participating in the first Peace Summit, mediating the return of 53 children illegally abducted from Ukraine by Russia, and providing them with necessary medical and psychological care.  

We must continue doing everything necessary to protect lives and stop deaths. And at the same time, it is crucial to maintain the unity of all our partners, America and Europe, all our partners around the world who are helping us.

The Ukrainian leader expressed his gratitude for all of Switzerland’s political and humanitarian support, including the successful organization of the first Peace Summit and participation in thematic conferences that followed, as well as for the willingness to work together in the pursuit of a just and sustainable peace for Ukraine and all of Europe.

This year, the EU Presidency will be held first by Poland, and in the second half of the year by Denmark. They are very responsible partners of ours. From the Ukrainian side, we will ensure everything necessary to take the right steps.

Since the beginning of the Kursk operation, the enemy has already lost over 38,000 troops in this area alone, including approximately 15,000 irrecoverable losses.
