All those who are meeting the Christmas Eve in the trenches with weapons in their hands, facing the enemy. All our warriors of light. Guardian angels of Ukraine, who prove to us every day: good will prevail, light will prevail, one must have steadfast spirit, and strong faith. Every day we pray for each of them. We pray for an end to the war. We pray for victory.

First Lady of Ukraine Olena Zelenska held traditional Christmas readings at the Okhmatdyt Children's Specialized Hospital. This marks the third such event since 2021, featuring tea-time readings that take place at the hospital with the participation of the President's wife.

The potential for U.S. sanctions has been increased. We also await the approval of the U.S. support package for the next year, and I am grateful to representatives of both parties for understanding that decisions need to be made.

Ukrainian and international companies contributed to this effort. Thanks to their collaboration, over 3,100 families with over 13,000 children across the country simultaneously received gifts on December 23.

First Lady of Ukraine Olena Zelenska received the recognition from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, "Honorary Ambassador 2023: A Cause for Victory." The ceremony took place on the Diplomatic Service Day.

We are preparing solutions to the issues that our units, combat brigades are facing. Matters of motivation, terms of service determination, and recruitment.

Volodymyr Zelenskyy underscored the importance of the first visit of the newly appointed head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Poland to our state.

It is an honor to represent such people, such a nation, such courage in the world. And I ask you to always remember this – the Ukrainian people who inspire the world and deserve victory. Your job is to help bring Ukraine closer to victory.

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy announced that he had submitted to the Verkhovna Rada draft amendments to the law "On Diplomatic Service" to make Ukrainian diplomacy more modern and efficient.
