As part of an ongoing dialogue and in continuation of the meeting between President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy and President of Brazil Lula da Silva in New York, Head of the Office of the President Andriy Yermak had a telephone conversation with Chief Advisor to the President of the Federal Republic of Brazil Celso Amorim.

I want to say separately to all our people in Crimea, in Sevastopol, in all the occupied areas of the South and East of our state, in the currently occupied areas. All of you feel that the Russian presence on our land is not permanent. Ukraine will reclaim its territory and its people. We will not leave anyone to the occupiers.

The meeting primarily focused on strengthening Ukrainian airspace with modern fighters and new air defense systems. Cooperation within the aviation coalition and the training of Ukrainian pilots on F-16 aircraft.

Now, by working together, we can combine the best qualities of our nations and jointly – Ukraine and Germany – offer a chance for our Europe to grow.

Russia's attempts to control Crimea are not just about land or a military foothold that Moscow needed in the Black Sea to destabilize neighboring regions. It's about the people who need to be saved from all forms of repression.

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy participated in a meeting of the College of the European Commission via a video link.

For Ukraine, this is a top priority – to be ready for a political decision to start negotiations on EU membership this year.

At the Office of the President, another briefing for ambassadors and representatives of diplomatic missions from EU member states dedicated to Ukraine's sanctions priorities was held.

Andriy Yermak expressed gratitude for the participation of the Jordanian delegation in the previous round of consultations in Jeddah and invited Ahmed Husni to personally participate in the planned event.

Special attention was focused on the process of the implementation of the Ukrainian Peace Formula.
