President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy held a meeting with the heads of law enforcement agencies regarding the protection of the state's national interests under martial law.

The aftermath of the Russian strike is still being dealt with. In total, there were more than 120 missiles of various types and over a hundred Shahed drones. The missiles were launched from various locations, including the airspace over Kursk and Belgorod regions, other Russia’s border areas, the Black Sea, and the territory of our occupied Crimea.

Now, all over the country, efforts are underway to eliminate the consequences of the Russian strike. It was one of the heaviest strikes – a combined one. More than a hundred missiles of various types and about a hundred “Shahed” drones. And like most previous Russian strikes, this one was just as vile, targeting critical civilian infrastructure.

All day today, the rubble in Kramatorsk was being cleared after a Russian missile strike. Among those injured were journalists, including a film crew from Reuters. Citizens of Ukraine, America and Britain.

President Volodymyr Zelenskyy congratulated the winners and medalists of the Olympic Games and their coaches on Independence Day and presented them with state awards.

The leaders discussed further funding of defense assistance to Ukraine and the use of frozen assets of the Russian Federation for the needs of our country.

Yesterday, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy signed the laws of the defense package adopted by the Verkhovna Rada. The Head of State announced this during the celebrations on the occasion of the Independence Day of Ukraine.

On the Independence Day of Ukraine, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy and First Lady Olena Zelenska took part in the solemn prayer event “Prayer for Ukraine”. A joint prayer for our state was proclaimed by representatives of churches and religious organizations.
