The Participants have jointly determined to strengthen their security cooperation through bilateral security arrangements and long-term support measures as set out in this Agreement.

During his visit to Germany, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy signed an agreement on security cooperation and long-term support between Ukraine and the Federal Republic of Germany with Federal Chancellor Olaf Scholz.

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy started a working visit to the Federal Republic of Germany.

We must strengthen our alliances and partnerships to ensure they are capable of protecting life in both the present and the future, making the 21st century distinct from the 19th or 17th – marked by peace. A reliable, lasting peace that no revanchist can destroy.

Important meetings with partners are planned. There will be new agreements. We are doing everything to make them effective for Ukraine, and I am sure it will be so.

The participants of the meeting discussed the issues of reducing law enforcement pressure on legal business, updating the principles of the Economic Security Bureau, as well as the need to support defense industry enterprises and changes to legislation.

Andriy Yermak noted that during two years of full-scale Russian invasion, the Ukrainian people have consistently felt reliable support from the United States. He expressed hope that the U.S. House of Representatives will also vote in favor of supporting Ukraine, which will once again demonstrate America's global leadership in defending freedom and democracy.

On February 16, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy will visit Germany and France to hold negotiations with Federal Chancellor of Germany Olaf Scholz and President of France Emmanuel Macron.

Andriy Yermak emphasized the importance of all EU and NATO member states joining the G7 Joint Declaration.

Andriy Yermak noted the high level of cooperation between Ukraine and Germany and expressed his sincere gratitude to Federal Chancellor Olaf Scholz, President Frank-Walter Steinmeier and the entire German people for their powerful comprehensive assistance to Ukraine in countering full-scale Russian aggression.
