During the two years of its full-scale invasion, Russia has been constantly causing destruction in Ukraine and creating new challenges that require immediate response, coherent coordination of central and local authorities, and clear communication. These tasks are performed by the Congress of Local and Regional Authorities under the President and the "Side by Side" project. This was stated by Oleksiy Kuleba, Deputy Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine, during his participation in the forum "Ukraine. Year 2024".

The International Working Group on Sanctions against Russia chaired by Head of the Presidential Office Andriy Yermak and Director of the Freeman Spogli Institute for International Studies (FSI), Ambassador Michael McFaul laid the groundwork for the next round of sanctions imposed by the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, and the European Union on individuals and companies facilitating the war against our country.

Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine Andriy Yermak is convinced that only Ukraine's invitation to NATO membership, which our country seeks to obtain at the 75th NATO Summit in Washington in the summer of 2024, will give Europe and the world real chances to restore security, which is currently under threat due to Russia's aggressive policy. He made this statement during a meeting of the Yalta European Strategy (YES) in Kyiv.

A separate meeting of the G7 plus Ukraine was initiated by President of the Council of Ministers of the Italian Republic Giorgia Meloni on the occasion of the second anniversary of Russia's full-scale invasion of Ukraine, which began on February 24, 2022.

Volodymyr Zelenskyy thanked the government of Sweden for its vigorous and concrete support for Ukraine, primarily in defense. In particular, he expressed gratitude for the recently announced 15th package totaling almost EUR 700 million, which became the largest in volume.

We have already achieved much – and the world feels that Putin can lose this war. And when he loses, it will mean that not just someone wins, but the entire global community of nations – and international law as such – will prevail. We must ensure this.

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy held meetings with Prime Minister of Canada Justin Trudeau, Prime Minister of Italy Giorgia Meloni, President of the European Commission Ursula von der Leyen, and Prime Minister of Belgium Alexander De Croo, who arrived in our country on the occasion of the second anniversary of Russia's full-scale invasion of Ukraine.

Italy and Ukraine have jointly determined to strengthen their security cooperation by pursuing the following bilateral long-term security commitments and measures.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy held a meeting with Prime Minister of the Italian Republic Giorgia Meloni.

Emphasizing that Canada continues to stand with the people of Ukraine as they defend their country and the shared principles and values that are under attack, that Canada honours the sacrifices that are being made by the Ukrainian people in this fight and supports Ukraine’s inherent right to self-defence as enshrined in Article 51 of the United Nations Charter.
