Andriy Yermak praised the results of yesterday's special meeting of the European Council in Brussels, the determination to support Ukraine, and the readiness to develop a joint plan for achieving a just and lasting peace.

We continue working on the relevant steps with our partners who want peace, who want it just as much as we do. And next week there will be a lot of work here in Europe, with America, in Saudi Arabia – we are preparing a meeting to accelerate peace and strengthen the foundations of security.

Throughout February, nine Ukrainian bookshelves were set up in six countries: Greece, Finland, Hungary, Poland, Portugal, and Morocco, as announced by First Lady of Ukraine Olena Zelenska.

Volodymyr Zelenskyy informed his interlocutor about coordination with partners and the development of a plan that will include a unified European vision for ending the war, strengthening Ukraine, and concrete security guarantees.

Volodymyr Zelenskyy emphasized that Ukraine looks forward to Belgium’s involvement in the work on the initial steps toward ending the war.

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy met with Federal Chancellor of Austria Christian Stocker in Brussels and congratulated him on his recent assumption of office.

The Presidents of Ukraine and France also coordinated their positions and next steps. The leaders share a clear vision that real and lasting peace is possible through the cooperation of Ukraine, all of Europe, and the United States.

According to the President, first of all, everyone must make sure that Russia, as the sole source of this war, accepts the need to end it. This can be proved by two forms of silence that are easy to establish and monitor: no attacks on energy and other civilian infrastructure, namely a truce on missiles, bombs and long-range drones, and a truce on the water, meaning the cessation of military operations in the Black Sea.

Ukrainians do really want peace, but not at the cost of giving up Ukraine. Is Russia capable of giving up the war – this is the question that any negotiations must answer.
