The Head of State thanked Charles Michel and all the EU member states for the actual start of Ukraine's EU accession negotiations and emphasized that Ukrainians had been waiting for it for a long time.

Lithuania will provide Ukraine with security assistance and modern military equipment across the land, air, sea, space, and cyber-electromagnetic domains. Lithuania will also potentially reopen a military training mission on the territory of Ukraine.

The Estonian government will allocate at least 0.25% of GDP annually in 2024-2027 for military support to our country. Estonia was the first country to propose fixing a percentage of GDP to support Ukraine in bilateral security agreements.

In Brussels, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, President of the European Council Charles Michel and President of the European Commission Ursula von der Leyen signed the Joint Security Commitments between Ukraine and the EU.

During his working visit to Luxembourg, Deputy Head of the Presidential Office Ihor Zhovkva took part in the first EU-Ukraine intergovernmental conference.

We need real steps – everything that can bring just and lasting peace closer to us – Ukrainians, and hence reliable stability for everyone in the world. And it must be done really fairly – not behind the scenes.

At the Field of Mars of the Lychakiv Cemetery, the Head of State laid flowers to the graves of the defenders of Ukraine who were killed in the battles with the Russian occupiers.
