Head of the Presidential Office Andriy Yermak met with Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of India to Ukraine Harsh Kumar Jain.

In pursuance of the G7 Declaration of Support for Ukraine, the initial talks with Latvia on the conclusion of a bilateral security agreement have been launched. 

The interlocutors discussed our country's progress towards integration into the Euro-Atlantic security system and the necessary steps to achieve this.

Andriy Yermak and Fan Xianrong outlined areas for further cooperation, in particular on the issues contained in the points of the Ukrainian Peace Formula.

The Head of the Presidential Office thanked Saudi Arabia for its willingness to join the process of achieving a lasting and just peace.

The parties continued to work on the draft agreement and outlined its scope and key elements. The schedule for further negotiations was agreed upon.

The interlocutors discussed the situation on the battlefield and the urgent needs of Ukrainian defenders. In particular, Andriy Yermak emphasized the importance of the U.S. House of Representatives approving an aid package for Ukraine as soon as possible, as it is badly needed by Ukrainian forces.

Andriy Yermak and Sidney Mufamadi also discussed high-level contacts between Ukraine and the Republic of South Africa.

The Head of the President's Office emphasized that it is important that the United States' support for Ukraine does not stop, as it is essential for the continuation of the fight against Russian aggression.

The Presidential Office hosted a briefing chaired by Head of the Presidential Office Andriy Yermak on the security situation in Ukraine and other topical issues for the delegation of the People's Republic of China headed by Li Hui, Special Representative of the Chinese Government for Eurasian Affairs.
