Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine Andriy Yermak held a meeting with the American businessman and philanthropist, Chair of the Open Society Foundations Alexander Soros.

Head of the Office of the President Andriy Yermak emphasizes the importance of the global community's support in developing effective tools to ensure the return of Ukrainian children illegally deported by Russia. He made this statement participating the inaugural meeting of the International Coalition of Countries for the Return of Ukrainian Children held in Kyiv.

Deputy Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine Yulia Sokolovska participated in the International Conference "Freedom or Fear," dedicated to the 75th anniversary of the adoption of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights.

Head of the Office of the President Andriy Yermak met with the renowned human rights lawyer, civil liberties and child protection advocate, Director of the International Bar Association's Human Rights Institute, Baroness Helena Kennedy KC, who is visiting Ukraine.

Andriy Yermak expressed gratitude to France for its assistance to Ukraine during the Russian aggression and extensive support for the Euro-Atlantic integration of our state. The current security situation in Ukraine and the main defense needs were discussed.

The parties discussed the priority areas of cooperation during Italy's presidency of the G7 in 2024. The importance of further comprehensive support for Ukraine as one of the priorities of this presidency was emphasized.

Advisor - Presidential Commissioner for Children's Rights and Child Rehabilitation Daria Herasymchuk took part in the press briefing "Stolen Voices: Deportation and Forced Displacement of Ukrainian Children by Ruscists. Facts and Revelations", where the evidence of Russian crimes gathered by experts of the OSCE Moscow Mechanism, specialists of the Yale University Humanities Research Laboratory and Ukrainian civil society activists was presented.

The document stipulates that Ukraine will receive the capabilities necessary for success on the battlefield in the short term, and in the long term will contribute to economic recovery and strengthening of defense capabilities.

The members of the Ukrainian delegation briefed Lloyd Austin on the situation on the battlefield and the urgent needs of Ukrainian defenders, including armored vehicles, demining vehicles, artillery systems and munitions, long-range missiles, and combat aircraft. Special attention was paid to the need to build a system of fortifications.
