On the instructions of President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy, Head of the Office of the President Andriy Yermak led an extended meeting of the Presidium of the Congress of Local and Regional Authorities under the President, devoted to urgent issues of Sumy and Chernihiv regions.

During the meeting, Oleksiy Kuleba emphasized the importance of the joint work and expressed hope that the fruitful and effective cooperation would continue.

Issues related to the commemoration of the 90th anniversary of the Holodomor of 1932-1933 in Ukraine, the genocide of the Ukrainian people, were discussed.

The participants of the meeting discussed priority steps for further implementation of judicial reform and cooperation to achieve positive changes on the way to creating a favorable investment climate in Ukraine.

Oleksiy Dniprov thanked the WBC representatives for their support of Ukraine in countering Russian aggression, in particular for their principled position on the ban on participation in competitions for Russians and Belarusians.

On the instructions of the President of Ukraine and the Head of the Presidential Office, the first round of negotiations with Japan on a bilateral agreement on security guarantees, as envisaged by the Joint Declaration of Support for Ukraine, has begun today.

Andriy Yermak informed the delegation from the U.S. Institute of Peace about the work being done to implement the Ukrainian Peace Formula, the meetings with representatives of the diplomatic corps dedicated to each of the ten points of the Formula.

The head of the Office of the President also reported on the preparation for the upcoming third meeting of national security advisors, which will focus on the implementation of the Ukrainian Peace Formula and the organization of the Global Peace Summit.

Andrii Sybiha praised the consistent support of our country by the Bundestag, in particular the Social Democratic Party. He thanked for the significant defense, financial and humanitarian assistance provided to Ukraine by Germany since the beginning of the full-scale Russian invasion.

On the instructions of the President of Ukraine and the Head of the Presidential Office, Deputy Head of the Presidential Office Ihor Zhovkva, Deputy Minister of Defense Nataliia Kalmykova and Advisor to the Head of the Presidential Office Oleksandr Kozenko held a regular coordination meeting with Ukraine's main partners in the coalition of modern fighter jets via video conference.
