In Uzhhorod, Head of the Presidential Office Andriy Yermak and Minister of Foreign Affairs Dmytro Kuleba began a meeting with Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade of Hungary Péter Szijjártó.

In pursuance of the agreements reached by the Presidents of Ukraine and the Republic of France during their telephone conversation on January 18, the Ukrainian negotiating team headed by Deputy Head of the Office of the President Ihor Zhovkva held another round of negotiations with France on the conclusion of a bilateral agreement on the provision of security commitments to Ukraine.

The Ukrainian delegation included eight educational startups selected from 29 competitive applications, namely Amperia, BUKI, CASES, Elai.io, GIOS, Headway, Nanit Robot, and Sensorama.

Andriy Yermak emphasized the importance of the meetings between the Ukrainian and American sides that took place on the sidelines of the World Economic Forum in Davos.

The interlocutors discussed the security situation in Ukraine, in particular Russia's recent missile attacks on Ukrainian cities, the course of hostilities on the frontline and the assistance our country needs from partner countries.

Andriy Yermak informed about the consequences of Russia's missile strikes on Ukrainian cities and communities on Tuesday. He emphasized the need to bolster Ukraine's air defense system and outlined the most pressing needs of the Defense Forces on the battlefield.

Pursuant to the instruction of the President of Ukraine, Head of the Presidential Office Andriy Yermak had a phone call with National Security Adviser to the Prime Minister of the United Kingdom Timothy Barrow.

The Foundation of the President of Ukraine for Support of Education, Science and Sports, the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine and Cormack Consultancy Group together with Mosaik Education announced a competition with a total budget of £770,000.
