Throughout Russia's full-scale invasion of Ukraine, Japan, Australia, and New Zealand have taken a clear position in support of our country's sovereignty and territorial integrity and condemnation of Russian aggression. These countries have been actively exerting sanctions pressure on Russia in order to reduce Russian budget revenues and end the war.

As part of the ongoing dialogue with allies, Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine Andriy Yermak had a video call with National Security Adviser to the Prime Minister of the United Kingdom Timothy Barrow.

The parties also discussed the implementation of the Ukrainian Peace Formula and preparations for the inaugural peace summit at the level of state leaders in Switzerland.

On the second anniversary of Russia's full-scale invasion of Ukraine, Ukrainian children who were returned after being abducted by the Russians visited the UN Headquarters to speak about Russian crimes as part of the Stolen Voices information campaign under President Volodymyr Zelenskyy's Bring Kids Back UA action plan.

Andriy Yermak stated that the war, which is now affecting the whole world, began in Crimea, and the way to its end lies through the Crimean peninsula.

The parties discussed the main structural elements and blocks of the future agreement and agreed on a schedule for further work.

"We had a task from the President to build relations with the whole world, to explain what Russia's war against Ukraine is, and, of course, if not to win them over to our side, then to make sure that countries know the truth, exert pressure on Russia, isolate Russia," said Andriy Yermak.

During the two years of its full-scale invasion, Russia has been constantly causing destruction in Ukraine and creating new challenges that require immediate response, coherent coordination of central and local authorities, and clear communication. These tasks are performed by the Congress of Local and Regional Authorities under the President and the "Side by Side" project. This was stated by Oleksiy Kuleba, Deputy Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine, during his participation in the forum "Ukraine. Year 2024".

The International Working Group on Sanctions against Russia chaired by Head of the Presidential Office Andriy Yermak and Director of the Freeman Spogli Institute for International Studies (FSI), Ambassador Michael McFaul laid the groundwork for the next round of sanctions imposed by the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, and the European Union on individuals and companies facilitating the war against our country.

Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine Andriy Yermak is convinced that only Ukraine's invitation to NATO membership, which our country seeks to obtain at the 75th NATO Summit in Washington in the summer of 2024, will give Europe and the world real chances to restore security, which is currently under threat due to Russia's aggressive policy. He made this statement during a meeting of the Yalta European Strategy (YES) in Kyiv.
