The 23rd Ukraine-European Union Summit will take place on October 12 in Kyiv. The event will be chaired by President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy, President of the European Council Charles Michel and President of the European Commission Ursula von der Leyen.
The leaders will discuss the achievements and prospects of cooperation between Ukraine and the EU in the implementation of the Association Agreement, the Deep and Comprehensive Free Trade Area, energy security and deepening sectoral cooperation.
The issues of cooperation in the field of security and defense, the development of the situation in Donbas and the occupied Crimea are also on the agenda.
A number of agreements between Ukraine and the European Union are planned to be signed in the framework of the Summit.
A joint statement will be adopted following the Summit.
