The Head of State congratulated the Jewish community on the holiday and thanked them for their prayers for Ukraine and Ukrainians.

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy held a telephone conversation with Prime Minister of Japan Shigeru Ishiba.

On the occasion of Christmas, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy and First Lady Olena Zelenska visited the large foster family of the Alekseienkos and presented them with the keys to their new home. The house was built as part of the second wave of the Olena Zelenska Foundation’s project, “Room for Childhood.”

President Volodymyr Zelenskyy presented apartment certificates to the Heroes of Ukraine and to the families of the warriors who were posthumously awarded this title.

During the meeting, they discussed prospects for bilateral cooperation between China and Ukraine.

For the second time, we celebrate Christmas on the same date as one big family, one country. For the second time in modern history, Christmas unites all Ukrainians. Today we are side by side. And we will not get lost. Whether in person or in our minds, we will greet each other, call our parents, kiss our children, hug our loved ones, and remember those close to us.

The Head of State expressed gratitude to His All-Holiness for His spiritual support of Ukraine and prayers for the Ukrainian people; he also extended his congratulations to the Patriarch on the upcoming holidays – Christmas and New Year.
