As part of the visit to the French Republic, the Ukrainian delegation, comprising Minister for Foreign Affairs Andrii Sybiha, Minister of Defense Rustem Umerov, and Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine Andriy Yermak, held its first multilateral meeting at the Élysée Palace.

During the visit, the delegation is scheduled to participate in a series of bilateral and multilateral meetings with representatives of states from the coalition of the willing and able to guarantee security, in particular, France, Germany, and the United Kingdom.

Our drones, Ukrainian missiles, our artillery, Ukrainian shells, our equipment – everything produced by Ukraine – will defend Ukraine, the lives of our people, our state.

Vladyslav Vlasiuk briefed the diplomats on foreign components found in Russian weapons and the impact of the imposed sanctions on Russia’s capabilities, noting the effectiveness of restrictions targeting the gas and metallurgy sectors, as well as cryptocurrency transactions.

Volodymyr Zelenskyy and Alexander Stubb discussed relations with the United States and Russia’s rejection of the American proposal for an unconditional ceasefire. The leaders also coordinated the next joint steps and contacts with partners.

President Volodymyr Zelenskyy met with employees of Ukraine’s defense and industrial complex, thanked them for their work, and presented state awards.
